Riviera del Conero Bike & Boat

Arrival in Numana Marcelli and meeting with your guide for bike fitting and briefing. In the afternoon (3:30 pm), set sail for a panoramic boat tour along the coast, from Numana to Portonovo and Mezzavalle, stopping at the famous Due Sorelle beach for a refreshing swim and aperitif with music on board. Return and dinner at the hotel.

A scenic hill route crossing the Conero area and picturesque villages such as Sirolo, Poggio, and Portonovo (with its bay visible from above), reaching Ancona and the Passetto beach area via the new cycle path. We’ll explore some of the city’s most iconic spots before heading back for a well-deserved stop at a local winery producing the renowned Rosso Conero wine. Enjoy a wine tasting under the shade of the estate’s trees — your well-earned lunch break, featuring local products prepared with care and passion. Return in the afternoon and relax by the sea before dinner and overnight stay.

Departure from Numana’s marina at 9:00 a.m., sailing north along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Adriatic coast. We will pass by the seaside village of Sirolo before stopping at Sassi Neri beach — the wildest and most fascinating of the area — for a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters. After this relaxing break, we’ll continue our route to admire the famous Due Sorelle beach with its iconic white sea stacks, and then reach the more secluded Gabbiani beach. A light lunch will be served on board before disembarking. In the afternoon, enjoy an easy bike ride to discover Camerano and its underground city, cycling through rolling hills embroidered with the vineyards of Rosso Conero wine, which we may taste in a local cellar or inside the caves. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Marcelli, Selva di Castelfidardo, Osimo, Recanati, Loreto and Porto Recanati are the places we will visit on this cycling route. Starting from the sea, we’ll climb the hills along the Musone River, discovering long stretches of white country roads that lead to historic towns, where we’ll explore the landmarks linked to the poet Giacomo Leopardi: the tower of “The Solitary Sparrow”, Palazzo Leopardi and its museum, Mount Tabor, and the Colle dell’Infinito — a place of contemplation offering breathtaking views over the Marche landscape. After the lunch break, we’ll return and depart towards our destinations.
