Trip Itinerary
More information regarding the time and meeting point for the first/last day will be provided after the booking.
The journey begins in Cervia, riding through the pine forests of Classe and the Ortazzo Nature Reserve in a calm and immersive natural setting. The route continues with a visit to the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe, before heading towards the lagoons and the sea. One of the most scenic highlights is the Argine degli Angeli, a cycle path suspended over the water that crosses the Comacchio wetlands. The day ends in the charming town of Comacchio. Dinner and overnight stay in accommodation.
Leaving Comacchio, the route enters the heart of the Po Delta, passing through the natural oases of Porto Garibaldi, Volano, and the Bosco della Mesola, a natural habitat of deer. In Goro, the Po River is reached and the characteristic floating bridge crossings are encountered. The ride continues through the scenic “Sacche” of Goro and Scardovari, in a unique landscape of water, silence, and unspoiled nature.
Arrival in Porto Tolle, in the heart of the Delta. Dinner and overnight stay in accommodation.
The final itinerary unfolds through a combination of cycling and boat transfer, along one of the most scenic sections of the entire journey. The route crosses the island of Pellestrina, with its landscapes suspended between sea and lagoon, then continues to the village of Malamocco before reaching the Lido of Venice. Arrival in the lagoon marks the highlight of the tour, with a short visit to the historic center of Venice. Return by train in the same day. End of services.
