The meeting point is at a renowned local winery that will host the group for a traditional Abruzzese dinner and overnight stay. A warm welcome that immediately immerses you in the region’s winemaking tradition and authentic rural charm.
After breakfast, set off on a bike ride through the charming villages of Nereto, Corropoli, and Controguerra, crossing the rolling Teramo hills dotted with vineyards and family-run wineries. Visit historic wine estates and enjoy guided tastings of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. Return to the accommodation in the late afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will immerse yourself in the authentic grape harvest experience by participating in the grape picking. You will follow the grapes from the vineyard to the presses and then to the barrels, closely witnessing the stages of winemaking. The day ends with an in-depth winery tour and a traditional dinner accompanied by exclusive tastings of the wines produced. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a bike ride towards Ancarano to visit local wineries. Along the route, you will also explore the charming towns of Garrufo and Sant’Omero, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and farms. Winery tastings and breathtaking views will enrich this stage. Return to Torano Nuovo for dinner and overnight stay.
After the final breakfast, the experience concludes with farewells and departure. An unforgettable journey into the heart of Abruzzo’s food, wine, and natural beauty.

The Wine Harvest Experience and the Teramo Wine Routes by Bike is a 5-day experiential tour that combines nature, food and wine, and rural culture in the heart of Abruzzo. You will cycle through the gentle hills of Teramo, passing authentic villages and vineyard landscapes along the roads of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. You will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the grape harvest: participating in picking the grapes, visiting historic wineries, meeting winemakers, and tasting wines from the region’s most renowned vineyards. The rides, on accessible and scenic routes, will take you through cultivated fields, ancient pergolas, and farms that preserve the knowledge of the land. Each day will be enriched by guided tastings, traditional Abruzzese cuisine, and convivial moments that will make this journey unforgettable.

For a cycling holiday, you might find yourself riding with people on e-bikes as well as those on traditional bikes. Respect everyone's space and enjoy yourself. The tour is organized by local guides and operators, carefully selected for you.
