The Cortina d'Ampezzo ski area includes two major resorts: Faloria – Cristallo and Tofana - 5 Torri – Lagazuoi, with a total of 100 km of slopes, 95% of which are covered by artificial snowmaking. The different areas are conveniently connected by a free ski bus service, providing skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts with trails in optimal conditions for all levels and preferences. Cortina is part of the extensive Dolomiti Superski area, one of the largest ski circuits in the world, featuring 450 ski lifts accessible with a single ski pass, allowing visitors to explore over 1200 km of slopes across 12 different valleys. Dinner and overnight stay.
The Faloria - Cristallo ski area, along with Tofana, Fedare, and Falzarego - 5 Torri, is one of the three main skiing zones in Cortina d'Ampezzo. This resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski and is easily accessible from the center of Cortina via the Faloria cable car. The cable car takes you to an altitude of 2,120 meters, where the ski area unfolds, featuring five chairlifts and one ski lift. The slopes reach heights of 2,362 meters, where the Tondi run begins, which, along with Vitelli, is one of the most captivating in the entire area and hosts World Cup snowboarding competitions each year. While skiing, you can reach the base of Mount Cristallo, in the Son Forca area, where the scenic Forcella Staunies cable car used to operate, leading to the iconic off-piste route named after it. Dinner and overnight stay.
In the Tofana ski area, skiers can start on the beginner slopes located at the lower part of the resort and, thanks to the new six-seater Tofana Express chairlift, quickly access more challenging runs such as the Canalone and the famous Schuss, which are ideal for those seeking technical challenges. By using the Freccia nel Cielo cable car, which reaches an altitude of 2,475 meters in the Ra Valles area, snow enthusiasts can rely on excellent conditions throughout the winter. From this point, it is possible to descend along the renowned Forcella Rossa run, which features significant slopes and spectacular views. An interesting fact is about the A run of Col Druscié, which helped make Cortina d'Ampezzo famous during the 1956 Olympics, when Toni Sailer won the slalom event. The Tofana Freccia nel Cielo cable car and the Bus Tofana chairlift take you to an altitude of 2,828 meters, where the longest run in Cortina begins, featuring a skiable vertical drop of 1,686 meters. Dinner and overnight stay.
The Cinque Torri area is a true paradise for ski enthusiasts, equipped with state-of-the-art lift systems that provide the opportunity to admire breathtaking views of the magnificent Dolomites. From here, you can quickly reach Passo Falzarego, Passo Giau, Val Badia, and Val Gardena, making it easy to explore the entire Superski resort. Starting from Baita Bai de Dones, the 5 Torri chairlift allows skiers to ascend to the iconic peaks in a record time of just 6 minutes. Similarly, the Fedare chairlift takes skiers to an altitude of 2,000 meters, where they can enjoy an extraordinary view of the majestic Tofana di Rozes rising on the horizon. Additionally, the Potor chairlift is located next to the Averau hut, from where you can continue towards the Croda Negra chairlift and Falzarego. This lift serves as a crucial connection point with the surrounding valleys, making it easy for those coming from Colle Santa Lucia or the Agordino region to spend an unforgettable day on the slopes of the Cinque Torri. Dinner and overnight stay.
From the Passo Falzarego, skiers can take the Lagazuoi cable car up to 2,732 meters, where they can enjoy a panoramic view of the Cortina Delicious ski area. Here, there are two main runs to explore: the Lagazuoi run and the Armentarola run. The Lagazuoi run stretches for 2,470 meters with a vertical drop of 635 meters, featuring wide curves and changes in gradient. This red run is known not only for its technical challenges but also for its historical significance, as it crosses the front line of World War I and allows skiers to visit a historic position accessible on skis. The Armentarola run, which is 8.5 kilometers long, is renowned for its enchanting scenery. The descent begins at the top of Lagazuoi and ends at the Capanna Alpina refuge, providing an extraordinary skiing experience set in a unique natural landscape. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, departures to the respective destinations. End of services.
