Start your journey from Milan with a comfortable Eurocity train to Visp, crossing breathtaking landscapes. Continue with a scenic regional train to Zermatt, a car-free town that preserves its authentic charm. Take the Monte Rosa Express to reach Riffelberg, where you’ll meet local guides who will accompany you on a short train ride to Rotenboden. From there, a short hike will take you to the Igloo Village, located at 2,600 meters above sea level. Once settled in the igloo, enjoy a warm aperitif with mulled wine, sweets, and fondue. If the weather permits, join a night snowshoe hike or relax in the hot tub. Overnight stay in the charming igloo village.

In the morning, start your day with a cup of hot tea. After breakfast, take the train to the summit of Gornergrat, at 3,100 meters, to enjoy a spectacular view of the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. Take advantage of your free time to explore the top, have lunch at the panoramic restaurant, or return to Zermatt. In the afternoon, take the train back to Visp, where you will continue your journey to Milan. You are expected to arrive in Milan in the evening, with many unforgettable memories of this unique experience.

By Car: A22 motorway towards Bolzano. From Täsch, take the train to Zermatt.
By Train: Milano Centrale station to Brig or Visp, and from there, a panoramic train (such as the Glacier Express or the train to Zermatt) to Zermatt railway station.
By Plane: Geneva, Zurich, and Milan Malpensa Airports.

The night in an igloo in Zermatt takes place at high altitude. Zermatt is located at 1,600 meters above sea level, while the Igloo Village is situated at 2,600 meters. This tour is not recommended for individuals with cardiovascular conditions, children under 6 years old, or adults over 80 years old. The igloo village is, however, equipped with emergency facilities. The tour is open to travelers of all ages and can be done independently or in a group, with constant support from the agency. If you choose a group holiday, you may meet people from different countries, with various habits and travel styles. During the excursion, you may encounter hikers with varying levels of experience, so please respect everyone's space and enjoy the adventure together. The tour is organized by experienced local guides, selected to ensure your safety, comfort, and a unique experience.
Remember to bring a valid passport or ID card, with an expiration date no less than 6 months from the departure date. The itinerary may change before or during the trip. In some villages, distributed accommodation may be required due to the lack of large structures. Please inform us of any food intolerances at the time of booking. Local city tax to be paid on-site. What to Remember: Bring warm mountain clothing, comfortable snow boots, gloves, and two hats. If you wish to use the Jacuzzi, bring towels, swimwear, and flip-flops. A flashlight and cash (credit cards are not accepted) are required. Luggage: 1 backpack for 2 people. Excess luggage can be left at the Riffelberg Hotel. Suitcases are not recommended.
