Meeting at 10:00 AM in the parking lot near the cave, along the road connecting Orbetello to Porto Santo Stefano. Today, you will embark on a unique adventure deep within the earth, exploring the Punta degli Stretti Cave, one of the natural wonders of Argentario. This horizontal cave, accessible to all, will allow you to walk through corridors, spacious chambers, small canyons, and hidden ponds, all adorned with formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and columns in extraordinary shapes. During the exploration, you will have the chance to encounter the typical inhabitants of these places, such as bats and rare insects.

Explore the underground world of the Punta degli Stretti Cave, one of the natural gems of the Argentario. This horizontal cave is accessible to everyone, offering a fascinating adventure through corridors, spacious chambers, and hidden ponds, adorned with spectacular formations of stalactites and stalagmites. The constant and pleasant environment, with an ideal temperature for exploration year-round, allows you to fully enjoy the beauty and mystery of the place. Along the way, you may encounter bats and rare insects, adding a unique touch to the experience.
To make the most of this experience, we ask that you bring with you:
- A swimsuit, already worn at the start of the activity
- Sturdy sneakers with a non-slip sole, or trekking boots, also suitable for walking in water
- A towel or bathrobe for after the activity
- A complete change of clothes, including shoes, to leave in the car

Must-Know Details
By car: E80 Orbetello highway exit
Open to travelers aged 7 and older (younger participants may be considered upon evaluation by the guides), and a fear of water is not recommended. The duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours, but the times may vary depending on the size and pace of the group, or any potential crowding in the cave.
In the cave, it is not recommended to bring anything other than the necessary equipment, as the risk of getting it wet is high. We recommend having a good breakfast in the morning.
Once the excursion begins, you can only eat again at the end of the route.
For lunch after the excursion, you can bring a packed lunch to leave in your car, or eat at one of the many restaurants or refreshment points in the area.
After the cave excursion, you can continue your day at the beautiful beaches of Feniglia or Tombolo, visit the seaside villages of Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano, or Porto Ercole, or enjoy birdwatching for the many species of birds in the lagoon.
You can also reach Saturnia (about a 1-hour drive) and spend a few hours at the hot thermal spring pools.
