The Plose mountain, with its numerous leisure activities, will captivate you. Bressanone is an ideal destination for culture and nature lovers, offering a doubly seductive experience for any type of vacation, both in summer and winter. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart by train to Dobbiaco. Upon arrival, collect your bikes at the station and begin the first leg of the tour. You will cycle through the Braies Valley and along the Rienza River. After passing the artificial lake of Valdaora, you will reach today's destination: Brunico, welcomed by the impressive castle visible from afar. Overnight stay.
Early morning wake-up, breakfast, and departure by bike along the Puster Valley. Along the route, you will pass the ruins of the Chiusa di Rio di Pusteria before entering the Isarco Valley. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Augustinian Abbey of Novacella, dating back to 1142! In Bressanone, a stroll through the historic center and a visit to the Cathedral are recommended before continuing towards today's destination, Chiusa. Overnight stay.
From Chiusa, you will cycle along the Isarco River to Ponte Gardena, where the majestic Castel Trostburg will welcome you. From here, the valley narrows until Bolzano, where it opens up again, offering breathtaking scenery. Bolzano is a city where Italian and German cultures meet, creating a unique atmosphere. The mild climate favors Mediterranean vegetation, contrasting with the snow-capped peaks of the Dolomites visible in the distance.
In the morning, travel by train from Bolzano to Merano, a renowned spa town also known as the "Little Vienna." This elegant and lively city is perfect for a stroll or a visit to the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the Merano residence of Empress Sissi. Afterwards, resume cycling along the Wine Route back to Bolzano. The rest of the afternoon is free for individual activities. Group dinner and overnight stay.
Depart from Bolzano by bike with two options to reach Salorno: the first follows the old railway through Oltradige-Bassa Atesina, Caldaro, and finally Salorno; the second follows the Adige Valley cycle path. Near the Salorno Gorge, you will leave South Tyrol and enter Trentino, passing through lush wine-growing areas. The route will be chosen based on weather conditions and group preferences. Upon arrival at the selected accommodation in Trento, you will have free time to explore the town. Overnight stay.
Depart towards Lake Garda, crossing the historic town of Rovereto and the San Giovanni Pass (287 m). The route will take you to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, where you'll feel suspended between land and sea!
