Vintage Bianchi Bike Tour

You can take a stroll along the Riviera delle Palme, visit the fishermen’s quarter “La Villetta,” and then head up to the old town. A must-see is the Gualtieri Tower and the castle, offering panoramic views over the city. San Benedetto is also the birthplace of the traditional Brodetto alla Sambenedettese, a unique fish stew made with vinegar, bell pepper, and green tomato. The area is renowned for its DOC wines as well, including Falerio dei Colli Ascolani, Rosso Piceno, and Rosso Piceno Superiore. Dinner and overnight stay.

The tour begins on vintage bicycles as you ride through the Sentina Nature Reserve, crossing the Tronto River into Abruzzo. The coastal route starts with the Coastal Biotope, then continues through the Borsacchio Nature Reserve, ending in Roseto degli Abruzzi.
In the reserve, you can enjoy a wine tasting at Mazzarosa Winery before heading to the beach. In the evening, stroll through the charming alleys of old Roseto and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay.

Today you’ll ride through the beautiful Torre del Cerrano Marine Reserve, cycling in the shade of a majestic pine forest, with sand dunes and Fratino bird habitats to your left.
Arrive in Pescara, the city of Gabriele D’Annunzio, where you can visit his birthplace, elegant Liberty-style villas, and the historic Ex Aurum (original home of the famous liqueur, now a cultural center).
After crossing the Ponte del Mare, you’ll reach Francavilla al Mare — don’t miss the Cenacolo Michettiano and the Mu.Mi Museum. Dinner and overnight stay.

After the Belle Époque charm of Pescara, you’ll join the legendary Trabocchi Coast. Today’s route is a celebration of the sea’s colors and scents: starting from the Acquabella Reserve, you'll pass many traditional fishing huts called Trabocchi, especially from Ortona onwards.
Seaside villages like San Vito Chietino, Rocca San Giovanni, and Fossacesia welcome you with narrow streets and the scent of the crystal-clear sea.
Evening experience: dinner on a Trabocco (traditional fishing platform)! Overnight stay.

Another day on the Via Verde (greenway), riding along the coast with more Trabocchi and seaside views. You’ll pass Casalbordino, then enter the stunning Punta Aderci Nature Reserve, where the landscape dramatically changes, offering breathtaking scenery.
Ride through the green hills to Vasto Marina, then climb to Vasto’s historic center to admire the gulf from above and even catch a glimpse of the Tremiti Islands.
The old town, with its Ambling Loggia and quaint alleys, is perfect for an evening stroll and dinner in a local osteria. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, departure for respective destinations. End of services. (If you wish, you can retrace the itinerary back by train.)
